Ben Jones
undo tpa....lob it in a bath. undo the little bolt on the lever (if its the same as a maggy?) and undo the one on the caliper.Suck the water through the caliper end with your mouth, also push the lever a little bit, this'll get all the air out.do up the bolts... s'all good

Netherking
Good way to see if it is bled right is to use one hand to pull the lever and one hand to feel the pads. If the pads start moving just as you start pulling the lever, it should be pretty much air free.i did a perfect bleed today with the help of peter b, but we had to let some water out because my pads are too close to the rim. with the tpa all the way out the lever would bite too far out, and i cant be bothered adjusting the pads. adjust the reach? Janson
adjust the reach?reach is where i want it to be. brake is not mushy at all, it is nearly too stiff for my liking.
joe b
It's not actually a problem with the brake though, it's just not being able to bleed brakes... Those hose pipe things are such a waste of time, man.Just bleed it normally, with a syringe. Then, once you've mastered it you can bleed your brake without chipping the paint on your bars ...Cheers,Joe.
