ZeroMatt
Right I have a pretty large problem with my new pc, it has decided that it wont start properly when turned on moniter doesnt get any signal.Have checked all connections etc and nowt wrong. Basically when i turn the power on fans start whiring like normal then theere is a loud and long beep which i have been informed means that there is a hardware problem. I haven't any spare componants that are compatible to test the parts, but I suspect it's the GPU as before it went mad the video kept cutting off requiring a restart to get it back. Before I actually buy a new card I want to be certain that it is the problem. Anyone with any idea I would appreciate help in the matter.Cheers Matt Edited July 23, 2007 by ZeroMatt
Danny
The type of beep a pc makes is actually an error code.Checkout http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtmlShould give you a rough idea.

Reece B
or perhaps a duff psu (power supply) causing the the gpu to go mad, and in the end fried it.happens often specially with cheap psu units, got to your local pc shop or mates to test the parts.
