TrashZen
Seems like a terrible waste to me.....just clean your bars with water spit in the grip twirl it round flick the spit out and give it some beans to get it on the bar.... instantly rideable...... only works if your grips are newish and not some foamy shitplastic zip ties will do on a any grip (5p at your local DIY Mackays), take them thin, choose your colour match too! don't waste money on a spray can! boon racoon
Lock-on grips are horrible for trials. You wear through to the plastic core and then the little tabs that go into the metal lockrings snap off.no way dude!that's rubbish.i've used loc-on ruffians and now longnecks for the last 3-4 ish years. they've been savvy throughout!never a problem apart from wearing out then replacing them.this is with bunnyhop ups a lot of the time as well.. = more yank back forcelongnecks are amazing without gloves in summer too. no slippage at all with sweaty palms! Tomm
I don't understand people who say to zip tie them on - or wire is even worse. Unless you ride with gloves I suppose. Meh, I've never had that much of a problem with grip slip. Just buy the ones that cover the end of the bar, it's fine.
Janson
no way dude!that's rubbish.i've used loc-on ruffians and now longnecks for the last 3-4 ish years. they've been savvy throughout!never a problem apart from wearing out then replacing them.this is with bunnyhop ups a lot of the time as well.. = more yank back forcelongnecks are amazing without gloves in summer too. no slippage at all with sweaty palms!Well, I used lockons for a few years.Never managed to have them play-free. Tried twisting and locking etc, only worked for a short while. And when I landed a gap the little tabs in the grip snapped off.I do agree that they're very convenient though, easy to change and don't slip.
