Avid Bb7 Dual System

I have double disk on my monty and use bb7 with SD7 levers and 160 rotors and its awsome.

Holds of hold but also have modulation so that i can manual and stuff unlike a grabby magura.

Once you do it you wont go back

A bit worrying with the snapping mounts, whereabout exactly do they break?

And Rich, how is the wheel flex? Is it noticeable? I'm going for a dual BB7 setup once I get my Triton, hope it's going to be nice stiff and safe.

the flex is something you get used to quite quickly and after a while just don't notice. I can't tell the difference between my brakes now and someone with front and rear Maguras. Set it all up well and it'll be very stiff, but one of the most important rules is that whatever manufacturers say about them being 'fit-and-forget' and low maintence, ignore it. You have to look after these things and treat them right. So long as you do that, should all be fine.

Oh, and in answer to your other question and a sort of warning as to the immense power of these brakes, when the mounts snap, they snap like this:

And will, under massive braking forces, do this to rotors:

And if you use them long enough, and hard enough, the lateral forces on the spokes will weaken a rim enough, and do this:
