PaRtZ
OK well I went to get my ribos done today and basically he took half a blink at it ad said "yeah nothing we can do" and thats before I asked him....So to prove him wrong so i can throw them at him tomoz...I did it myself, proving there WAS something that can be done. Maybe its not a good job, but it sure as hell is less painful to me now so it was worth doing.BEFORE: AFTER:

2sixstreet
Is that just normal cotton? It wont last very longMy advice if you really want to go down that road is use Dental Floss. It will last long enough for you to realise you should buy new shoes.
nmt_oli
puncture repair patches+superglue maybe?why not use the puncture repair rubber glue to glue the sole together?
Token
Use fishing line instead of cotton or dental floss. Out of interest, how old are they?
PaRtZ
probs about 11 months old lol
Walleee
If he uses a stronger material to 'knit' all that will happen is rather than the thread he has used breaking, the stronger line, eg fishing line, would not break, and instead tear through the sole material, making further bodges even harder. I'd have thought a replacement piece of sole, obviously totally covering the affected area,,superclued on, and some foam inside superglued in would work...... King C
I would probably glue something like abit of innertube(or thicker) over it, to stop the thread getting gnawed on by your pedals

Krisboats
Did you try using rubber glue? Seems like a silly question i know, but i glued up a pair of vans and they lasted another 8 months of riding. The glue holds really well but is also flexible so it doesn't snap or get cut by the pedal pins as i'm sure that thread will do.
Fishy
What about filling the hole with hot glue gun glue.
