I was under the impression popping a vein killed you within minutes due to the amount of blood escaping and cutting a vein was slightly longer if you kept pressure on it but still quite an urgent matter. If they're leaving the metal in till monday it can't be that bad. I mean, i've cut my finger on my disc rotor before and it kept squirting a good few feet every second or so. He thought it wasnt really a big deal as it only looked like a little speck when the doctor checked it out, then he whent to pull it out and it just kept coming out and turned out to be like 15mm long!Anyways, get well dude, and get the lazy basterds to take it out!
