ilikeriding
On the front for definite, I like to slow down without a huge honk, but on the back, one missed sidehop and its gonna be f**ked

1337 Trials
I swapped my front hs33 for a hope mono trials and im glad I did. The hope mono trials holds alot better and feels nicer :) ~Matty
onzaboy89
I would have disk on the front as you get a bit more modulation and then a Maggie HS33 on the rear for power. I used to have a hs33 on the front but changed to an avid BB7 recently and it seems like a much nicer feel.
spode@thinkbikes
On the front for definite, I like to slow down without a huge honk, but on the back, one missed sidehop and its gonna be f**kedBoth Dave and I have NEVER hit a disc doing a sidehop. It'll hit the chainstay. Edited July 17, 2007 by Spode
MattB
Both Dave and I have NEVER hit a disc doing a sidehop. It'll hit the chainstay.Seconded.You have to tilt the bike at such a angle to hit a rear disc that its very unlikly.Feels better than a maggy as well.matt
Mike W
I used to have a hope m4 on the front and that was fairly good, lately i have changed back to a front maggie and its sooo much better aslong as u have good pads, booster and gring its great mike
mat da man
On the front for definite, I like to slow down without a huge honk, but on the back, one missed sidehop and its gonna be f**kedIf the dude is left footed he will be fine! i am left footed whoop
mod_biker_barney
Well, i used to run a maggie but swapped to hope trial...Such a goood idea. Personally, i think it was a good switch, this is because a hope can give out more power. Some people will argue that a maggie is as good but i prefer hope. Whatever tickles your pickle... jsychem
I personally wouldn't on the back because it would make the back brake softer and smoother, which is not ideal as you want a sudden bite.
_Owen.
im half way through changing from mag to mono trials at the moment, will edit about power etc when its fitted

willy wonka
get a vee, they're the best, got stupid ammount of power, its silent and they are very controllable (not that bitey..)
Sam O
Run a disk on the front, anything that has alot of power will do, avid bb7 for example. On the back though I'd stick to eather a maggy or a v-brake. At the moment I run a V-brake on the back and its just as powerful as my mates maggy if not better! timmorley
alright mate. i run a disc on the front and it is a vast improvement over a maggy. so much smoother for front wheelin stuff. just run a maggy or V-brake on the back its upto u, just try out different setups thats your best bet! hope i have helped!tim
