Trials Shoes

Do many people use try-alls or ribos? Which are better? I'm thinking of getting a pair of Try-alls to save my normal shoes and as they look like normal trainers i won't look a goon. But what benefits do ribos have over try-alls as they are moer expensive and would you say that they (trials specific shoes)are necessary?

They arent a neccesity i dont think although is you are going to then i definatly would say ribos although more expensive they are worth it, i used to have some but personally prefer to ride in trainers so now i just havea seperate pair of trainers for riding so it doesnt matter if they get wreked x

TRY ALL shoes are pretty good but the soles wear pretty quick, after a few weeks and got fat gouges from the pedal pins because the rubber is so soft but grippy as buggery, but they do give highish ankle protection too, i wouldnt buy another set, prob deck shoes i like globes, or i might try ribo's next everyone seems to say they last longer and they got better ankle protection

hey i had a set of try all's........i really did love mine they have decent ankle support a soft sole so u really have a fel for the peddals.......amazingly grippy and lasted me about 11 months and that was riding most days at the end of 11 months they were actually wasted......i wanted to try somthing new i went from a pair of trials specific shoes to skate shoes......i would rate skate shoes just as much as i do my try alls.............duffs skate shoes amazingly grippy and long lasting..............vans..also have some verry good shoes for riding ...............but yeah get your self some try alls and when they die get a decent pair of skate shoes and you will be suprised how skate shoes work so well
