scousertrials
I know anything possibile, but why not make the hs33 master cylinders out of surgical stainless steel. The benifits are obvious that they will be stronger and endure more in a crash situation. The weight situation is not that much of an issue if you think that i have been through loads of maggies in the past few years because of them being made out of poo
Onza Kieron
It's not beneficial to Magura to do them like that and they know that your going to buy them regardless with them being the only Hydraulic rim system
philking
the only Hydraulic rim systemApart from Dunguras
N.Wood
Or they could just make them out of half decent alu, whichever.Everyone forgets they're not trials-specific brakes.

Bionic Balls
the lever body is cast to give low cost and very high production rates...only a few aluminium alloys are suitable to be cast (and they aren't the best mechanically..) but it's what you pay for!and don't say..cast steel...it's alot more difficult than you might think.adam
stevecoust
i priced having a magura lever body machined from t grade stainless and it was going to cost £178.43 for 1.due to it taking about 8 hours to programme the 3d cnc mahine. steve
Cap
i priced having a magura lever body machined from t grade stainless and it was going to cost £178.43 for 1.due to it taking about 8 hours to programme the 3d cnc mahine. steveget a grp buy going and it will dramatically reduce the cost get a list of how many people want them take that to the place and ask the price for x amount would work out a hell of a lot cheaper
basher
The reason magura hasnt done it is because its cheaper to get them casted so a bigger profit margin and also maguras wernt designed as a trials brake they where for xc.
