Chris King No Threadset!?

Yeah old headsets years ago used to be threaded into the top tube, but now they are push fit into the tube with tiny tollerances between the top tube and the headset cups, like0.1mm etc etc, so the chris king dont have a thread hence the name no threadset,

You're a little bit off there.

The cups for threaded heatsets were still pressed into the frame the same way. The difference is that the steerer tube (of the forks) is threaded and you tension the headset by screwing down onto that.

I've been looking at the Chris King headset for the last couple of days and was just wondering what no threadset stands for as i don't understand where the thread would be!!!

quite a long while a go now there was such thing as a threaded steerer tube so there was thread in the steerer tube so they needed thread on the headset to screw on down.
