crazyman with a death wish
t-pro's aren't weak and if they were it wouldn't really matter because beginners aren't going to go big like massive gaps and drops

jsychem
Onza T-Pro has to be the nicest, its light and quite strong and is a suitable frame for a novice and intermediate rider.
Muel
Yeah and?Just because two people broke a t-pro doesn't mean they're too weak for a beginner.t-pro's aren't weak and if they were it wouldn't really matter because beginners aren't going to go big like massive gaps and dropsAhhh the joys of tf's "one person broke theirs, therefore they're shite" mentality.I am Muel, T-Pros are weak, loads have snapped, they all snap eventually. I had mine for a month. The guy I bought it off had a stock as well so it didn't get used much and it cracked.Loads have broken, and I mean LOADS. I'm talking in their hundreds. And every single pic I have seen have cracked at the same place, at the tip of the gusset underneath the downtube. It is because it has a closed ended gusset which concentrates all the flexy forces into a point. If it was an open ended gusset like on T-Mags and Zona Zips then it would spread the load much better. The list should have T-Mag at the top, they are excellent bikes and are a great base to upgrade around. on ya bike
I would say a cheep second hand one, because if you dont like it you have just paid like 200-400 pound on a bike , to then not like trials.I know that my mum and dad would kill me if they got me a new bike and I didnt like the trials.Tom
Muel
Can I just point out, T-Pros have V-Brakes this year. And T-Mags are about 99999..... times better bikes. Yes I have had a T-Pro and used to ride with a Lad on a T-Mag virtually every day until he went all gay.

RossMcd
My mate snapped his T-Mag after 5 months becuase the bashgaurd went straight though it.I have had my T-pro for six months now and its still going strong, even though I am a really rough rider.T-mags are also quite heavy and the geometries are not very good aswell. The Geo on a T-Mag is mint. The old T-Mags all used to break there, so onza now mounts the frot bash mount onto a big gusset before welding it to the frame.I reckon that if the gusset on the T-Pro was changed to an open ended one, far fewer would break because EVERY one that I have seen that has broken has broken there.
