ManxTrialSpaz
Haven't had many people telling us to stop riding. We get the odd dumb bitch thats talking shit right out of her mouth. Like riding on some walls which is supposed to be a waterfall type thing but is never on and is in the middle of the prom's unnoficial skate park - we get some random fat woman walking through who just stops, staring at kris looking really shocked and just comes out with "That is not what that is for" It was just like......"yeh..........sure......wtf?"Or some old women that told us (whilst we were riding) that we "shouldn't be riding there" we "have a bike path!! " I mean wtf! Did the old bints even think about what they said? So, we don't really get pissed off as we're generally too wtf'ed by what they've said. Like when we could have got some women to pay us not to ride on some flowers (which we were obviously avoiding anyway) and it was only because we 'wtf'ed' that she was going to pay us that we didn't take the money. So really, it's either bollocks, or you shouldn't be riding where you get chucked off, so it's all fair. Matt Breeze
I had an old woman come up to me the other day and asking me to teach her trials but most the time is a, hav'nt you got anything better to do!....... or stop wrecking the walls that i have to pay for in my council tax but theres nothing like people aplauding your riding Matt
scott_ftw
slagging... what a word cant beat it some oldies come up and say their really impressed with what we do but others say " im off to get the police " i really think its funny when smack heads approach you and ask how much your bike costsasif their going to steal it and trade it in for their next fix. usually i just say well about £100 when really i know its worth over 10x that.i dont think its anything to get annoyed about really, just another way to excuse your level of ridingfrom others, dont worry i have a little book of excuses of why my friends seem to kick my arse at trials so before i go off subject again scott xx

Griff From Clacton
Moan, moan, moan thats all it feels like people do some days as if they want nothing else to brighten their day up more than for you to get out of their way, out of sight and be quiet, grrr gets real annoying especially when nothing gets done about the real scum on the streets, its like some great spots just get ruined through peoples carelessness of smashing glass,We had this guy the other day told us to F**k off because our bikes were too load and it was upseting his dog yet i didnt hear his dog bark one (Maybe cause heatsink snowies are so dam load) but still, there was no need for him to be so aggressive towards us, and of course when people get aggressive with you, you get aggressive with them and so on..Wish people would chill out sometimes and just instead moan appriciate what we can do with our bike like some rare few do.Griff. Rebelistic
I got told off for riding on some bollards once - Nasty grey concrete that's just there to stop cars.I just accuse the people who tell you not to ride of morale hypocrisy as they usually are guilty of doing something much worse themselves. (p.s. i land heavy)not my fault you land and you make an earthquake noise, ha, erm mine is v quiet, many people just have dropped jaws when they go past, does get irritating though when u here them say he hasnt got a seat, lol Edited July 13, 2007 by speedyjustice
Token
If you ride through town honking your brakes pointlessly to attract attention then you deserve a good slap, it doesn't do the sport any justice and people who don't have a clue about trials will just see us as noise pollutants. I doubt any of you will take any notice of what I've just said because your all 14 year old school kids who think it's great to piss people off. Ride, don't make ridiculous noise and you won't get any hassle from anyone about being disruptive. You don't have to be genius to work it out.
