Right I no this has been posted a million times but no real answer.

Okay, I ground the rim on my Mod. Ronnie rim if that make a difference. I set a new pair of heatsink "blueburry" pads. They seemed like a good pad, span the wheel and they made a LOUD honk. Went for a ride, and they had loads of bite, but lacked hold, They slipped like a bitch, I dont really know whats wrong, the grind is light - medium. I tryed some Koxx greens, and they were the same, but silent.

Anyone know whats wrong?

Cheers!

Must be your grind, if its fresh and the pads are clean and hitting the rim straight then I can't think of anything else.

Try a deeper, harsher grind, I did and it worked for me.

It may be that your pads aren't hitting the rim exactly square so they might need to get worn in, but this has only ever happened to me with old pads that have worn funny...

I would grind it again and make it well harsh. (Y)

Bite and not hold can be a few things

- lack of booster? frame flexing when you want it not to

- Bolts done up well tight to stop them flexing out

- Not bedded in? on a feash grinds pads can take upto like 2-3 hours to bedd in

- dust on the grim, from grinding? wash it down with water

- shit grind? do it harder next time

- Wheel not in propperly and "poppig"

- Just the pads dirty? file off the top layer of the pad and make em square

- rim contaminated? used tyre cleaner or lubed the chain near you rim?

Kinda hard for an open question, and yes i am bored lol
