Rich Pearson
36 miles each way for me, totalling 72 a day.....costs just over £10 per day, averaging around 32mpg currently. tends to take me an hour, due to the mega traffic jam at the end (which my job is infact to sort out!-bypass scheme)You must have a lot of time to consider the true meaning of irony thre nick.Seems cool, most people seem to have it the same then. Just hope I get the job...Rich
barrybaines
I cross the England Wales border daily on the road push bike (which can get very windy) do about 14 miles each way including hills. Best time to date was 30 minutes (really pushing nearly passed out when I got home) but average at around 42 minutes. Then just for laughs on the weekend I try and chuck in at least another 100 miles either in two smaller rides or one big shove not that the weather has helped me much this year!In all honesty its all training for my sponsored Bristol to London cycle ride I have entered. But it has given me the taste for a triathlon or the like!
Fixed Pants™
Speaking of place to place rides, i'd like to do the London to Brighton ride one day, need a road bike first though!
quick_spider
If I'm working in the Ellesmere Port plant, about 50 miles round trip - takes about 3/4 of an hour each way. The Bilston plant is a 90 each way and can take anything between 90 mins and 3 hours depending on the M6.I've done 22000 miles in my car since I bought it 10 months ago Jon
