dangerous_dave
the bottom bracket is the bit in between the pedals that is in the frame. it is a shell which holds an axle which the cranks bolt on to.i use 25-30 in the rear and 20-25 in the front and i weigh 10.5 stone
_Owen.
your pressure depends on how you like it, i run just under 10psi on mine, which is pretty low, but it helps with my balance on the back wheel. and yess mate, brake squeel is normally a sign of life. if you have got wd40 on your rims, i would take off your wheel and tyre, and wipe it down with some white spirit, but make sure you rub the white spirit on, and then off with another rag. hope i helped

El Cristoff
also how can i sort this bb of mine linkys will be apreaciatedyou cant, its the frames shape that gives it a BB rise. the BB rise on your compo is i think 30-40mm, the BB rise on my GU is 60mm. all frames are different. samcooper182
Have you tried as previous reply's said? Using white spirt to clean the rim rubbing it hard into the rim and wipeing off with a clean cloth/rag? You could always do this with your pads to. What i usually do with my pads on my maggie when they go a bit crap and start slipping is take them off and sand (horizontal) the debris (black stuff) off with a bit of sand paper untill I get a new layer of pad. Then go the other way (vertical) to rough the pad up a little. After that grips like a dream!Good Luck Sam...
