Bottem Bracket

Hi

I have an onza t-pro, recently the bottem bracket has been making some bad noises indicating that it was shot, i took the old bottem bracket out of the frame and tried another bottem bracket in its place, but the new one did not fit, it pulled through the frame indicating that the threds had been stripped, i again tried a diffrent bottem bracket but i had the same problem  i then replaced the original bottem bracket that was broken and it went in and tightened up fine :S . Is there an universal width to a bottem bracket? Just wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem in the past? And if so how did you go about fixing it?

You may have one of the T-Pro frames with an over sized bottom bracket, if it is then the original one will be 1mm bigger than the ones you have bought.

You could try getting the bottom bracket shell sleeved by a bike shop.
