The Duck
I've had a water bleed in my maggy for 2 years and I've never had a problem. One of the fittings came loose on a ride the other day so i bled it with ribena. No problems at all.
steve@banbury-trials
I prefur a water bleed personally like so many others, yes anti freeze is a must if you are getting into the winter months,However there is the stigma that water bleeds ruin seals after a long period of time in some cases this is true but others it isnt, aslong as you maintain your brakes enough then there should be no problems,If you are thinking of running a water bleed with braided hosing then definalty go for the hope hs33 braided hose kit because it has a larger diameter inside compared to the magura braided hose kit, and this larger diameter allows for a water bleed to function better and is more responsive to the rider.Griff.how about goodridge hose?are they ok with water bleeds?also .... can anyone direct me to a shop where i can get 2 m6 fitting for braided hoses?steve

Boswell
Ive been running water for about a year. much better feel, no leaks so far and its impossible to get air in the system if you bleed it in your sink.or bath.
