James-M
I would leave it personally, or get it done professionally because it would be pretty easy to make a hash of it and screw it up. Edited July 5, 2007 by trials pie

poopipe
before you do anything else you should probably sit down and have a careful think about your gear ratioas for the colour - take the onza decals off using nitromorse and see what it looks like

ManxTrialSpaz
Unless you have an abundance of cash, I'd suggest sorting out the bashplate bolt first, so you can attach a bash again.

Gavyn.
caustic soda will take the anodising off - aswell as the skin on your hands!
Alex-Mitchinson
caustic soda will take the anodising off - aswell as the skin on your hands! No it won't, I tried that as well
poopipe
No it won't, I tried that as well I dont think you tried hard enoughunless laquer they put over the stickers might stop the caustic soda getting to the metal (that's a guess btw). either way - nitromorse the shit out of it before you decide to strip it completely it'll go a slightly different colour when the laquer has been removed. You could probably spray direct onto the anodised surface if you cleaned it first cos it's quite rough - much like primer.
