And why sometimes it gets stuck on the screen where you rate songs.Also:Why does it say "don't disconnect" when it's plugged into the pc. The buttons? The touch pad is SOOO much nicer than the ipod wheel. Christ every persons Ipod i've used didn't even work properly, yet they were pretty much brand new. All i'm saying is, the features of a zen are a lot more superior than that of the ipod (talking video ones here by the way), I couldnt see a point in getting one myself. Fish-Finger-er Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 Hmm, my 4th gen iPod is three years old this summer, still works even though I landed on it while I was skating a rail, and the battery still lasts a day, and I havnt had any problems with it at all.Think about it, over 100 million iPods have sold, and how many complaints are there... probably less than 1%really didnt think the 4th gens where that bullet proof. 3rd gen ipods on the other hand, are tanks, mines stil going strong somewhere(even if the screen is fading a bit with overuse), and thats had some abuse, been in 5/6 car crashes, dropped out of pocket biking, been slung in a college bag, had all sorts of mystery liquids spilt over it.going to buy a new one at some point, but trouble is, personal music is barely ever needed any more with me, only time i listen to something via headphones is when im cutting the lawn, sure i got an aux in for my car stereo. but then it plays mp3 cd's i can just burn off itunes at any given time. so unsure on the need for it really. It was working fine till a few weeks ago when i plugged it in to charge it and a flashing image came up with a big red symbol with the background light flashing and it said some thing along the lines of www.ipod.com/helpinfo or some thing like that, then flashed through various screens before doing it all again! what the hell does that mean! Stupid peopleI eventually got an iPod as I have a Mac and it made sense to get it as it syncs really easily with my computer. Based on this, I'm guessing that doesn't really make me stupid I used to own a Zen Touch 20GB and it was ace, but I fell out with Windows and so I just ignored any other MP3/Video player on the market when choosing my iPod. Also, when you have magazines such as T3 (obviously containing trusted reviews) absolutely loving the iPod over the Zen, Zune etc, it pretty much lets people know what to invest their money in. Each to their own I guess, im certain you use a PC - if so, completely understandable why you've got a Zen (plus iTunes - so ive heard - doesn't run that well on Windows?... or people just prefer WMP). Sorry for going on haha, but I just didn't like how you just added 'Stupid people' .EDIT: Actually thinking about it a bit more, you're like my mate Greg, he loves anything by Creative etc, so im guessing you were just messing haha.JJ.
