My problem is that if we keep getting threads like this there will be a "debt problems' thread soon, oh wait thats already been seen to by Simon Fryer

Seriously this forum is going to be better than the citizens advice bureau soon. Stop with the shit threads!

Just to save anyone asking, if anyones ipod freezes, and then has a sad ipod face, ignore the fact that apple asy its a harddrive malfunction and needs to be sent back for service, simply get a small flathead screwdriver, put it in the side and pop it open. That big silver thing with possibly blue foam is the hard drive, you'll notice this ribbon thing attached to the top of it thats sorta taped down, peel back the sticky tape bit and pull the ribbon out, leave for 5 minutes and then put back in, and put the case back together.

Viola, your ipod works again.

You can just hold down 'Action + Play' on start up. this will take you to disk mode. plug it in to your computer and format it. :D

That'll delete everything, my way deletes nothing, and makes you look hardcore, as opposed to geeky.

No, your trying to solve all the problems in the world. The way you go on you'd think you know everything.Stop trying to look good, you've been validated, calm the f**k down.
What... I really dont care if I look good. I know most of you hate me and I dont care. What problems am I trying to solve???? yeah... just iPods. get your facts right. How do I think I know everything? I dont. Neither do you. I can make what ever topics I like (within reason) you are not a moderator or even a senior or any crappy ranks like that.Again. I have made this topic to help people. not have you cock heads posting stuff to get me to argue. Grow up. willy.

They're saying, stop posting so much shit in chit chat because you don't need to impress the mods/admin anymore, you're validated, don't be an arse, don't try to solve everything or make a topic for everything.

My sisters iPod mini's screen stopped working, and they want 130 (more/as much as she paid for it) to fix it, is there anything i could do to fix it?
