Apple seem to have made a typo on thier website as such 1 terabyte external HDDs are available for £20!

I'm not sure what the deal is, but if you keep lot of stuff, or DL torrents, then it's got to be worth it?

If you are sceptical, I will post back in a few days if the suspected article arrives.

shud I make an order???

What happened if they send me a 1gb one?? I obviously don't want one of them, these will work with pc's yeh??

Return it. And even then, if you pay for what says its 1TB, then they have to send you 1 TB do they not?

I do believe, even though its obvious theyve just missed a 9 out of 199.99 that they have to sell it to you at that price for as long as its shown with the correct description.

that is however, unless they withdraw the item from sale completely, which they are entitled to do. My mum has done this in her shop before when people have been cheeky and swapped price labels around.

Either way, its a win-draw situation. so worth a go.

I ordered one for the hell of it, back up all 3 pc's and the mac for £16 bargain. Lets hope they dont try and charge me till i put the money in the account tomorrow.

This is a well good find, and i'm so glad you did find it. We got our sofa because of the exact same clause. Our sofa/chair was advertised as £402.00 instead of £4020.00 and they had to sell it to us at that price becuase thats what they said it was. If they wouldn't they'd have been liable for braking the trade descriptions act or something to that effect. Basically, if they tell us to f*** off we can say "well you'd be breaking trade descriptions act as thats what you advertised it as" and they'd have to give it to us at that price.

Hope it all goes well lads, i'd say buy one for the hell of it and sell it on ebay ;)

Someone's been on Bit-Tech :P

I ordered one a few hours ago, but I also read this in the T&Cs:

2.4 By placing an Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the Products you have selected on these terms and conditions. We may or may not accept your offer at our discretion.

2.5 If we accept your Order, we will notify you of our acceptance by issuing an Order Confirmation. We will send your Order Confirmation to you by e-mail provided you have indicated an e-mail address on your Order Form. Otherwise we will send the Order Confirmation by post. The Order Confirmation will be effective on sending. If we cannot accept your Order we will attempt to contact you by email or telephone or post.

So it looks unlikely. Especially as apparently some people have taken the piss a bit and ordered 500 - which will surely alert the people who process orders...

lol ordered one worse comes to worse should get a full refund so nothing really to lose, was going to be opti mistic order a few and whack em up on flea bay hehe.

I thought of that, but then I thought, how many other people will be buying so many that they will be prepared to undersell me substantially, so none of mine sell. Leaving me with 10TB of HDDs! Haha.

More importantly:

2.6 Whilst we will make every effort to supply you with the Products listed on the Order Confirmation, there may be occasions where we are unable to supply these Products because, for example, (i) such Products are no longer being manufactured or available or (ii) we are unable to source relevant components or (iii) if there was a pricing error on the Apple Store Web Site. In such circumstances we will contact you to inform you and may suggest alternative Products that you might wish to purchase. If you do not accept our suggestions then we will cancel your Order in relation to those Products we cannot supply and repay you any money that you may have paid to us in respect of those Products. Subject to clause 11.4 below, repayment of such monies will be the extent of our liability to you if we are unable to deliver to you the Products you have ordered.
