blaze_
A friend's HS33 Koxx Edition broke on a competition in Bulgaria....Am wondering would it be the same if it was an Echo CNC Brake
shansen
probably not as they cost like 3 times as much lol ain't the echo breaks meant to be stiffer or something?
Gavyn.
The echo brake is cnc'd, the magura is forged (I think). so unless you hit it really hard the echo brake shouldn't snap like the magura does.
Ash-Kennard
nothe maguras are cast, you can see bubbles in their metal. i would get another magura to be honest, the deng levers are having alot of problems atm and maguras are considerabley cheaper
Simon
the deng levers are having alot of problems atmReally? What kind of problems?I've seen so many new hs33's snap. Tried to fix one problem and caused about 3 or 4 others, silly, silly people.
blaze_
I've had a lot of problems with the HS33s like scratched cylinder on the lever and broken TPAs and a lot lot more and I really hope that the new deng brakes will be better and will not have that much problems....but if you say they do....that's not good..... lil Jsy Chris
My friend has done exactly the same to his magura twice! I have also had lots of problems with my magura but mainly the TPA so I would think the echo CNC is better.Chris
br3n
they all snap there, its nothing new Magura just enjoy going backwards - i think its a case of the drawing board is in sight now!

br3n
grease wont stop it constantly snapping.
Ash-Kennard
grease wont stop it constantly snapping.magic grease...ive broken 04s and 05's so meh, they are all the same wank quality.but i have found running the 05 brakes upsidedown stops the levers snapping because they always crack underneath, so now the beefed up top is now at the bottom so the tougher biut takes the shit, ive been running it this way for ages
