Dan6061
Been looking into getting a flash for my 350D.I want one that can be used off-camera, so I can get better riding pictures etc.Found this Opteka FL60AF-C.I know it's cheap, but I don't exactly have a lot to be spending. In the description, it has 'Off-Camera Terminal: No'Does that mean I won't be able to use it off-camera at all? Or would I just have to get the terminal aswell? If I do just need to get the terminal, would I be able to get a wireless one? Or would I have to have a wire going all over the place?EDIT: Just noticed that flash is for Film SLR's. Guess that'll make a difference?Found this one: Opteka EF-600 DG Super E-TTL.Sounds a lot better, same questions apply. Dr. Nick Riviera
page wont load, if it has a hotshoe mount or a pc cable socket, then you'll be fine for off camera flash.
Dan6061
It does have a hotshoe mount. Will I simple be able to use it off-camera? Or will I need a wireless slave trigger aswell?
Dr. Nick Riviera
yes, that usually is the idea. your camera hasn't got anything to trigger off camera flashes in it, unless of course this flash has an optical trigger on it. but i don't think it does.
