So you think around 15 laps is a good time to pit?

yea as a guideline, between the end of lap 13, and the end of lap 15. is a good starting point, but dont think its the best strategy, as i say it all depends on wat u do(like stickin real cheap tyres on ull probably get away without changin them)

Well, simple maths says that if each logo is around 700 different layers, and there are 3 logos, then there will be 2100 layers, in total, over the car.

Edit: Just realised you haven't replied in this thread, so I will assume you haven't played FM2 or done much work in the livery editor, and add a less sarcastic reply. You can't import photos. There are three fonts, each of which has an upper and lower case. None of them are the BTTF font. You have to work from the back up, making everything from incredibly basic shapes, which you can re-size in the x or y co-ordinates, spin, skew, or add transparency. There is no Adobe Photoshop on this game, and if you want to draw something, it takes time, and effort. This isn't an incredibly complex or exotic design, but the way I built it up, it too around 700 layers per logo, to create.

k?

A good way of putting accross what it's like is to say draw something in Paint, but you are only alowed to use squares, circles, ovals, or triangles. No lines, no spray can, no real 'cut+paste' (youc an duplicate layers, but that is 'meh') no eraser, no paintbrush.

Yeah, but not cross manufacturer, with certain cars. So you can but S2000 engines in Integras and stuff, but not Hemis or anything. Trouble is you have to change the drive aswell, so if you want a 4wd S2000, it's not going to happen.

Actually, they are. They have 3 cores each at 3.2Ghz, I'm going to guess an say most people on TF are running a Pentium 4 3Ghz, or equivelant. Then don't forget the faster RAM of the 360, and you'll have severe trouble even finding comparitive parts, let alone parts which surpass the power of the 360 to the point it can emulate a 360, and run the game.

Look how long it took for PS2 emulators to come out, don't expect it to be any shorter for the 360.
