modman
It's alot smoother ingame, dunno why the screenshots loose some quality maybe due to forza compressing them down? as the pictures get taken from the console and then uploaded onto their website. Haz
Love this game. Thought about making a thread. Could not be arsed.BTCC RAC M3'GOT MILK?' Vauxhaul Monaro Drift car.I was pretty sad and bought a wheel, but it's actually one of the best purchases I ever made, it's such good fun, if a little hard work. What level are you? modman
ahhh brilliant!!! how much are those wheels? i've been thinking about getting one myself, as i wanna get beat the qualification laptime for the b spec tornament which 57.957seconds around road atlanta short, its sooo hard i've managed just shy of a minute in that civic. im level 30 at the mo, what level are you? whats your gamer tag i'll race you
Bigman
I had a little play on this the other day and i have to say it is an awsome game, We did have a wheel setup for it and i feel for normal racing etc it makes it SOOOO much easier, takes a while to get used to the feel of the pedals etc though. When we got bored we setup a drift car, and trying to use the steering wheel to drift was abit of a bugger, so we switched back to the controller which made it one hell of alot better! My first go they put me in the benntly (sp?) mega car thing on the nurberg ring, it did not go so well , so decided to go for sumet reasonably simple like the subaru and it went alot better Adam
endofreak
I rented it just to mess around and see what it's like and took a few wee snaps.I'm not overly impressed with the graphics to be honest, but I may just be spoiled by the level of detail in Gear Of War. That game has really set the standards high.
Haz
I'm much happier with a game which is 100% smooth than a game like DiRT where the frame rate drops substantially every time soemthing good happens. Most wheels are 3800cr or similar arn't they?My GT is HazT, I'd be up for a race some time, allthough I'm only level 26 or something atm. Haz
Aha, of course, I did wonder why he asked...I payed £80 for mine. Gonna have to bodge the pedals though, brake is way too soft.
Fish-Finger-er
just gettin into it now, had it for a few weeks, but aint really played it that much, currently on level 26. does anyone know, if you start with europe as a home region, when playing through the game, winning all trophies etc,and levelling up are you ever given a car that will race in the heavyweight race in proving grounds??want to know, because if im given one, i wont bother buying one, and will get myself an audi TT or summit for the quattro race, but if not given one, might as well go buy an RS-
Haz
No, you don't, best bet is a 612 Scaglietti, it'll compete in that, the Ferrari Manufacturer races and it's pretty good to drive with a sensible tune.Allthough you can't go wrong with the RS6, all round, I found it understeered too much for me, and the only way to get rid of it in the tuning made it too slow in the straights to be competitive.I have this blue R4 Viper Compe Coupe, it appsolutely romps, I love it. Hillclimbing for instance is very cheap and great fun you can use you road going car with very few things need for saftey eg. Fire extinguser. If you go to www.msauk.org you can find loads of information on different types of motorsport. When you enter you are covered on competition insurance. As for cost, how much does it cost the average person for their games consol, games, controlers, TV, surround sound and much more. Bet it adds up to quite a lot? Edited July 1, 2007 by Matt_Tupman

Captain Scarlet
Gah, all the guys at work play this, I feel obliged to buy a 360 just to play along with them. They always go on about how good it is, and how they will apparently sack me if I don't get it.=( Edited July 2, 2007 by thutley

Haz
I don't trya nd pretend these games are real, I take them at face value, and if I had the chance to race , with the costs of playing a game, I would, because I know it's far more exciting. But to write it off and say everyone should do it doesn't make any sense to me.
