He said in Swansea they get about 5 or 6 a day doing it.Anyway, when people ask me how much my bike is worth I say "about £200".

andyroo
I'm on my twice yearly review of TF, seeing whats what, and its like it hasnt changed! The same threads but with new people in 'em...This chav thing is the same all over the place, just avoid them and if you cant, avoid eye contact. If they ask you a question, just answer it in the least threatening way you can. All they want is an excuse to be an idiot; dont give them one
JoNnY__Mc
I used to be quite intimidated by chavs... don't know why I frequently get asked how much my bike is worth etc and I always reply with a figure of around £500, I dont lie, but thats because I'm not scared of them... Recently I have received alot of attention from the indian lads who live near me when im riding my local spot, I have found that just by letting onto them, learning there names and being sound to them you receive alot of respect. This has also worked in Birmingham when I was riding there with a freind, we were aproached by a group of 3 men who asked questions about our bikes and shown real interest, I shook their hands, found out their names and everything was sound Another question I get asked is if I lift weights because im well built, they seem to be put off when I tell them I box If someone wanted to try and take my bike they would try and take it straight away, not arse about asking silly questions
