BONGO
whats the pointA small "pointless" change like this could change trials riding. It's just progression. If it doesn't work fair enough, but it could be a change that makes new things possible.4 years ago everyone used seats and had a lot more conventional frames compared to tdays weird things, that are now considered the norm.Maybe pointless, but it just might not be... craigjames
i can see longer 20" being easier for some things, but that long seems a lil excessive. nice one for trying it though, its different and im sure you'll tell us its short comings and its pros when youve ridden it properly for a while. Mark W
I hate that short stay/low BB to compensate thing. Hate it. I didn't like it on my T-Lite, I didn't like it on any Monty I've ridden, and I can't imagine it'd feel nice with that length of a front end. The uber long wheelbases people managed to get out of CLSs were bad enough, but 1090? To quote Stewie Griffin, "No thanks." If it ain't CS: 365mm, BB: +55mm and WB: 1045~mm I don't wanna know
deanie-b
That looks fucking weak
Jamie_Neal
Does look a bit odd but it'd be a mod that I wouldn't feel too cramped on (I'm 6'4") - I want a go.

Scotty Evil1
I think its cool, why not try it, its something different. To me, in the pic it doesnt look too long, would be cool if you could put a "normal" length bike next to it to compare it.Bet it feels a bit weird to ride!Nice oneScott
modman
looks riduculous, the only i could see riding that properly with looking like a dwarf or struggling to get it up, (remember those drunkern nights out?) would be someone thats at least over 6.5foot maybe 7foot i don't know any trials riders that tall. Has anyone seen my shoe?
Yeah but a 20mm change in WB can be counter-acted by other geo changes. Its all about the cockpit length. Synergy
what matters is if the guy likes it at the end of the day hes tying somethign he wants. a video would be good though and the frame itself looks nice
Mark W
Yeah but a 20mm change in WB can be counter-acted by other geo changes. Its all about the cockpit length. It's basically got the same back end specs as a Monty, but the wheelbase is almost 100mm longer (Monty = 998ish, this = 1090). 4 inches that are purely going on the front end length, unless they've put some f**king slack headtube angle on there... joe b
Reminds me, slightly, of Frankenstein... 1090mm with a BB rise of about +10 .I would like to see someone ride try and ride that ...Cheers,Joe.
Biff...
Mines 1055, so what you been waiting for lol, 1090 is rediculously long for mod, would like to sample it, dno how it would ride.
Glass
Well I haven't got a video just yet but here are some photos of Mr. Longass Mod in action.
Joe Sheehan!
If that stem wasnt so far low and forwards it would ride much nicer i bet.Im sure that he proper struggles with that.
matt rushton
Doesn't even look that bad when a rider is on it. Just looks like a mod rider thats tying to ride a stock.Matt Rushton
Has anyone seen my shoe?
It's basically got the same back end specs as a Monty, but the wheelbase is almost 100mm longer (Monty = 998ish, this = 1090). 4 inches that are purely going on the front end length, unless they've put some f**king slack headtube angle on there...Yeah I was speaking in generalities. The geo on this could be improved drastically.
Glass
Mr. Long Mod reduced the frame to 1060mm and then filmed this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91ypyGRXjk0He is still running a regular mod stem (150mm) and says the bike is da bomb! Some Spainish pros tested it out and aside from the frame's weight (~3kg) they liked the geo. So with some luck some company will soon start pumping out real "long mods". Simon
Why use a lens like that then stand like 30ft away, does he not understand the point of a fish-eye?I had to turn it off after a minute as it was doing my nut watching this ant ride trials through a telescope mounted on the moon. Also, he look so uncomfortable riding that, to the max, he isn't even that tall.
