Radfax
Aren't you 15? How can you drive?Well, I live in Shelf which is an alright village I guess, in Halifax but it's the Bradford side. As you'll probably know, the Bradford riots were back in Summer '01. Bradford city center is really shit I think. I know there are loads of nice places in Bradford district 'cos it's a huge one, but center is just awful. Really violent I get the impression of.Someone always wanting to start a fight with you, and ethnicity usually comes into play. "You lookin at me 'cos im asian? you want some white boi?" and such.Halifax is shit. Pretty violoent. Me and a few mates got jumped a few months ago after being out on the lash at 5am by some Chavs. I was too wasted to spell my name let alone say anything aggressive, so from what my mates tell me they just started on us for no reason.I don't really remember much from 10pm onwards 'cos I was that hammered (which is a first actually) but apparently we got jumped by ~12 chavs. I got hit 3 times in the face then went down and cracked my head on the floor. Knocked unconscious for 15mins so my mates phoned cops and ambulance but I just sprung back to life soon enough like nothing happened so we got a taxi.My head was f**ked for a week after with this huge cut and my shoulders hurt a bit.Meh.England is shit, don't you think? That's why I'm looking at moving to America or Canada after university.yeh i am bud, i was with my best mate at the time and he was obviously driving. Anyway, i went away for a while down to the south west area, and i did not get any hastle from a single person, stayed out till about 11:30 and although i was surfing most of the time i had to walk back through the center of town to get back to my place and i didnt get any trouble at all! So its just my area thats shite! The rest of england isnt the same thank god!
Max Quinn
"steaming?" could you not wrap a skateboard round one of their heads guarding the exits?what i find these days is there is a big lack of loyalty in friendship groups, and families etc, if instead of running off leaving a mate to get battered you should all have ago worse come to worse and you would probably win/scare them at least.I've never experienced it personally (touchwood) but from the experiences people who have these guys can have serious weapons. You'd have to have big guts to go at someone holding a knife and then theres the common factor of bats, poles, crowbars etc. Like i say guns aren't unheard of either. A friend of a friend was put in a coma by a nutorious gang round here. It was in a popular kinda 'emo hangout spot' park thing and they just got seton for all their stuff, the attackers had 4ft iron poles etc.And yer i know what you mean about disloyalty, i'd like to think i'd stick with a mate in almost any situation, if a friend ran on me i doubt he'd be my friend anymore.between the major population of where im from (asians, black people and white people) there is pretty much no racism, at least not in the lower/working/middle classes anyway, all the beef is usuall about post codes and local off licenses/launderettes lol. there is some racism between the (newly moved) polish people though i think, although there all f**king tonk and scary so not much ever happens as a result of it lol.Round Watford there can be quite alot of it, mainly between whites and asians i reckon. From whites to asians it's generally underhand murmors etc but if an asian is rascist to whites, from what i see, it tends to be more blunt and ends in fights if the whites stand up to it. There's been incidents of gangs of 30+ asians running down the high street shouting 'pakis for life' an stuff. A girl im mates with was kinda attacked in the park on one of the snow days when she split from our group, that was by about 20 asians but seemed more for fun then racism. Gypos down the road and they are all crazy and you cant batter one because then about a full caravan crew come after you. They're the worst! I've been started on for my bike twice and had a knife pulled on me once, all by 'irish travellers'. There was a massive pikey settlement near Harrow skatepark so we always used to get trouble there. I once saw a skater stand up to them (they were only about 13) and within minutes about 20 18 year old brothers were down with weapons, a guy near me got a chunk BITTEN from his shoulder when he was attacked cos of this. Is the shittest thing ever, these guys stick together like anything and are rediculously violent and just don't give a crap, i think pileys are the most likely to knife you, they're pretty much safe from the law for a start.England is shit, don't you think? That's why I'm looking at moving to America or Canada after university.I'm spending a few weeks in Canada at the moment, i've had no trouble watsoever in Halifax (Canadian Halifax) and its been refreshing. You get some gangster types who act hard here but there the kind that would get 2 shits kicked out of them if you dropped them in the middle of an English councill estate and havent done a thing so far. Im going to Montreal on wednesday which is suposedly one of the worst areas of Canada, big crips area if you remember the thread about crip dancing and gangs, so i'll see how that works out. Looonnngg post lol. Despite all this though i agree with everyone who says you just learn how to hold yourself in your environment and its about what your used to. ilikeriding
Watched two drug dealers battle it out with some chavs the other day, the chavs got beat with a hammer, which is all good. but the druggies, who seemed nice at the time nearly got stabbed, so ran away and hid in the bush behind us.one of the chavs looked properly hurt aswell, MEH.This was in the nice part of worcester, dunno why they came there. Perhaps to avoid that kind of thingThe drug dealers still go there most days, you can tell by the big bag of crack poorly concealed
