Well where I live theres no murder, just old people dying all the time. Yet about 4 miles down the road, theres a murder usually every 7-8 years. Which still isn't bad, but over such a small distance its silly.

Thats why Im more nervous about going to bigger cities than most people, because everything I see there is new to me and Ive never experianced what to do if a group of black/white people come up to me.

Once the largest council estate in Europe, Leigh Park has a long tradition of chavness and could well be the origin of all Chavs apon this Earth. (were there any evidence that anyone's moved out since 1959)

From the youngest creole-wearing babies collecting fag ends outside the chippie to the wrinkled hags in leggings pushing Netto trolleys home, Chav is and always has been at the heart of Leigh park.

On the outskirts of Ports-muff this top Chavtown offers the discerning Kev everything they might wish for.

For the teen-townie who hasn't yet got their own council flat, theres plenty of chip shops, offies and newagents to hang round outside, though favourite spots include Point 7 and Park Parade, the towns main shopping precinct. This is the ideal place for shouting at old ladies, asking grown ups to buy you White Lightening and meeting and mating with other Parkies. Here you'll find the main shops every chav needs to visit on the way home from the dole queue. For some everyday shoplifting and the latest Now album theres Woolworths and there's New Look, Peacocks and Bewise for the less-brand conscious scum (the rest get their rip off Tommy Hilfiger from the market or a bloke down the Wheatsheaf) Plus theres Iceland, Kwiksave and Netto a short shopping-trolley-push home. For better shoplifting and Argos Jewellery Pompey is only a short bus ride away, where parkies can mix with Chavs from as far as Waterlooville, Paulsgrove and Gosport by the fountain outside the Cascades Centre.

For those over 15s not hanging around outside Alldays with their younger siblings & mothers of their children may I recommend excellent drinking holes such as the aforementioned Wheatsheaf, the Swallow, the Greyhound, and the Warren (bricked up windows- quality!) Though it is not unusual to stroll along Middle Park Way with a can of Stella. At Weekends the chavs get in their Ford Escorts and go down town again (Portsmouth) and usually end the night drinking in Guildhall walk with a dance at Flares or Route 66 and a shag round the back of Wetherspoons.

As every Parkie has at least one child by their 20th birthday Leigh Park is a very family orientated community. Everyone is related in some way and little Bianca will always have a half-sister somewhere on the estate to play with. This may be a barrier to outsider Chavs wishing to get a council exchange here, but enough sportswear should assure any potential parker-partners their distinct gene pool is safe from dilution.

Lots of parts of Southampton, though most true chavs visit Shirley high street at least once a day from the surrounding Shirley, Millbrook and Lordshill.

Down my way there are murders Very often and they are the only ones i know about a while back there was to murders in one month! Its not to nice at all!

i suppose i will be thankfull of growing up in this type of area in the future as i will be aware of whats going on, i feel very comfortable in big areas like london ect as i know that there are a lot of people there and the chances of me getting picked out of the bunch is very slim!

If anything i would always say, when you do get into a uncomfortable about a situation just walk away, run if you have to, there is nothing big about seeing your own blood!

I mean earlier i went to get my brother from school and was started on by two pricks on mopeds! Because we wouldnt pull over and let them pass? WTF? My area used to be one of the worst in blackpool, is still bad but is getting better.

Not been started on round here for a while since most of the chavs saw me kick the shit out of a local drug dealer.

we have some rough estates outside town, grange park and mere side.

shrewsburys gettin bad now really. used to take the mick out of telford for being bad and joe living in a ghetto, but theres been like at least 4 killings in the past year. only on friday there was a shooting at the buttermarket(club) and another incident with a guns outside picolinos later on that night. alright its not much but for a town with like 50,000 population, its a fair bit, its like saying theres an average in 1 in 12,500 chance youll be killed in the next year. for that to be true of london, youd need like an average of 2 murders per day.(which there probably is in london).

i go down the seafront every saturday night and over to Basildon and watch the skylines drift around the industrial estate. i have never had any trouble with anyone, i go over for a got 5 hours + and i have no trouble, if i have any trouble on a saturdaynight its when i get home just driving through town to get to my place!

My area is sweet as nut, but has some shit areas around it (eg. the notorious Croydon/Fat Pant's house) but i have to go through said shit places to get to other decent places, like work.

In Plymouth there are loads of chavs and i get loads more gobby shites there than here.

Watford can be pretty bad, being a London suburb its pretty mingled, my road is really nice for example but just a few roads away your in the shit. It seems that the further into London you go the more it's like this, particularly East London from my experience riding through there. YOu'll be going through posh riverside apartments one second and then turn a corner and ride down a road full of burnt out cars and groups of black boys shouting and stuff, then turn another corner and be in the clear again.

I hear of a fair few stabbings around Watford and i've heard of a few gun incidents, i reckon they certainly exist around here anyway. I've rarely had any trouble myself though (aside from the standard shouting and half atttempted chases) as i think you get to know the ins and outs of your area and know how to act, where to go, who to avoid etc to keep yourself safe. I've hidden down my fair share of alleys and behind my fair share of cars haha.

Another thing that seems to be increasing around London is something called 'Steaming'. Basically a massive group of chavs, usually armed, find an enclosed space that has alot of people in it (skateparks are a prime example as they often only have one or two thin exits) and just go in, block the exits and take all the valuables there and beat the shit out of everyone. Not fun I'm pretty sure Dagenham skatepark got steamed a while ago.

At least im going to ride in the renowned non ghetto of Canada on thursday, i'm really interested to see how different the situation is there as apparently random street trouble is VERY rare. Montreal is supposed to be a big crips area though.

I feel for you all, i used to live in Essex, capital scum county!, i t was full of mentalists shitters and drug addicts, i was started on once buy a kid (i was 13 at the time) because i didn't have 10p to lend him!!!! i also found out when i left that the Essex boys had lots of contact and members in my town (Braintree) one of my sisters friend was kiddnaped at shotgun point by her ex-boyfriend (an Essex boy member if my memory serves my right) with her two year old kid aswel!! there we sooooo may stabbibg, bottlings, killing in my area it was untrue, i'm sooooooooooooo (i cannot xpress that enough) glad to have left shitty England,

I think the main reason is the police force, in England it's absolute shite, they don't do anything....at all...EVER!!! here (in Barcelona) there are three main police forces,

The nacional police, the "guardia Urbana" (translates to urban guards) and "los Mossos" They are the fachist riot police, notorious for beating up detained people!! you do not want to mess with these f**kers, they will not hesitate to give you a slap or two if you don't co-operate, it's harsh but it certainly works, when ther'e a riot o whotever, about 5 van full of there barstard come wizzing into town with full riot gear those shotguns with rubber pellets and all sorts, i've been around a few of these riots and it's not pleasant (but i admit it is pretty fun when 10 big mofos come running after you with battons!!)

THats pretty much the same as me.

i live in woking but spend weekends further in central london in the whole sortof chiswick/hammersmith/shepards bush/ealing/kingston area. its not as bad as other places (dagenham,penge[fat pants area]etc) but theres still quite a lot of crime and ting. in a fight in an under 18 club 3 weeks ago two people were stabbed and one died from it, a bouncer was knocked unconscious aswell (think how f**king tough bouncers are). its not too bad though, depends what you enjoy. i quite like the whole getting into fights/wathcing fights sorta thing but thats probably just my chav side showing through.

between the major population of where im from (asians, black people and white people) there is pretty much no racism, at least not in the lower/working/middle classes anyway, all the beef is usuall about post codes and local off licenses/launderettes lol. there is some racism between the (newly moved) polish people though i think, although there all f**king tonk and scary so not much ever happens as a result of it lol.
