JonMack
In what way does it work better?
Davetrials
my triggers didnt work, this works every time...
JonMack
TTL means Through The Lens. It just measures the light and then adjusts the flash so the shot is exposed properly.Obviously with triggers you have to set the flash to manual and adjust the power, trial and error. I don't get what you're trying to say.

Davetrials
ok ill reply in hereIf i set my sigma flash to "SL" i think (so the red light is flashing) then go on to my camera in to the menue and select "flash mode" then change it to "ttl", i can now set of my sigma flash with my onboard flash with the onboard f**king the picture up, does that make any sense?my triggers just plain and simple didnt work, they fire my flash almost every time, but my camera never seems to catch it. Tomm
That's nothing to do with it being on TTL though. That's just using the onboard flash to trigger the other one.
Davetrials
so why is it a seperate section the "Flash mood"its like my onboard flash triggers a milli second before the shutter close's ill try and get some examples., oh no i wont batteries dead:( Edited July 14, 2007 by Davetrials
JonMack
It's the Flash Mode. You can set it to TTL, or manual.Manual allows you to set the flash power yourself, TTL it does it automatically.
Dan Clark
Dave, mine did that too, set the flash mode to normal instead of rear sync flash, solved it for me.

Dan Clark
Yes, mine works perfectly with that setup.Change the flash on the camera to commander mode, and the flash to channel 3 and it's done, simple as that.
