Which Slr/lenses Do You Use?

I got a mint bag for £27! I bought an Eastpak Hudson laptop bag. The downside is that it doesn't have dedicated lens/body compartments, but my SLR lives in a Lowe Pro bag of it's own anyway, and all my lenses have cases. I just throw what I want in the main pouch, and the laptop bit is separate if I need it. Rarely I'll take a computer, otherwise for papers/notebooks. Advantages are that it doesn't shout out to everyone 'I'm carrying lots of expensive camera/computer stuff', and also it was cheap (half price from £55).

The Lowepro and Tamrac backpacks seem expensive for what you get. Another good thing about the Eastpak is that it's damn tough, and has got decent side straps for lightstands and/or tripods. So many otherwise good photo bags are missing these.

But yeah, I love the Eastpak, it's perfect. Smaller pouchers for triggers, batteries, light meters, etc, and plenty of room for other things.

this looks even better but its a tad slow. ive been using a 5.6, and i didnt really have any problems, although i was using 1/2000 shutter at some points.

The new TC-20E II has now been updated to match with the new AF-S lenses, and will maintain full metering and focusing with compatible cameras and lenses. This converter will increase the focal length of the lens by 2x (100%), and reduces the lens aperture by two f/stops.

The Sigma 2x EX APO Tele Converter (also known as a tele-extender) will multiply the focal length of the existing lens by 2x, and will cut back the amount of light by 2 f/stops. For example, using a 2x teleconverter with a 300 mm lens will effectively increase the focal length to 600 mm. A lens set to f/2.8 will now be f/5.6.

;)

Kills the speed though :(
