Not just water, as you need electrolytes to absorb the water, so anything with a bit of sugar/salt in it - Orange juice is my tip, it makes you feel healthy too. Made me laugh. 5 Pints is a startup, move onto shots after that, then double vodka/JD and cokes after that.Bit more expensive but meh, 5 pints is nothing... its like a couple of cans while waiting for the mrs to get ready then 30 minutes at the pub. Activities to avoid are operating heavy machines and shoe shopping, as leaning over makes me feel even worse.Also, eat and drink a shitload of everything. In my experience, it really doesn't matter much. Fatty and salty works well, but just make sure you eat LOADS and drink LOADS you'll be fine. I can guarantee i don't get one in the first place though, by drinking 2 litres of water before going to sleep. It's hard to do, but you wake up fresh as a daisy. Yesterday was hell until about 10pm when I ate 2 mars bars, 2 pot noodles and about 4 pints of coke. Never ever am I drinking that much... ever again.
