Nick Garland
Hey, I have been asked by a local bike shop to ride a demo outside their new shop. Doesnt need to be huge or anything but any ideas on what objects I could get hold of cheaply or free, to ride on that are safe.Does anyone know how you go about asking for a skip to be upside down? Also where would I be able to get blue pallets? I have tried asking at work but they cannot let me due to the small amount we get in (small waitrose branch). What would/have you managed to get hold of. I have 2 weeks to arrange it all.Cheers Nick

Synergy
ive being doing demos lately, our organiser got the pallets and empty whiskey barrels all from a distillery they let us borrow them for free. you could try bt for cable reels or a building contractor for sum objects. good luck
Nick Garland
I have found a cheap car for sale in a town near me on ebay for £0.01 at the moment, no reserve on a 1983 escort lol, should not cost too much. I will try a building contractors I know someone who might be able to help there. Keep the ideas coming I am liking them so far.

Nick Garland
Not being funny how do you go about egtting a skip, as it needs to be upside down ideally.

Onza Kieron
I strongly suggest you don't buy a car seing as then it's yours after the demo, best bet is go to the scrappy and ask how much you can borrow 2 or 3 cars for if he can drop em off and pick em up, then tell the shop owner how much, same with a skip but when you ask for it ask if they can tip it, then nick some pallets with someone with a pickup, reel from BT, some wood to mail around to make thin, high walkways....Be inventive by all means but its likely the crowd will be impressed with you hopping on the back wheel, so don't build a castle. BenLeacock™
pallets are always good as you can set them however you want, make sure you have enough though Ben
