New Bike

Recommended Posts

I've been messing around with trials for a while now, but only on my current Kona, which is more of an MTB/XC bike, but hey its been fun.

Anyways, I'm going to get a specific trials based bike, dont have that much to spend, so thought the Phase 1.3 might be a good starter?? Seen it on tartybikes.co.uk its a 26" and costr £300

Is this a good starter or is there something better for the same sort of money??

Help would be appreciated!!!

Well if you dont mind to much if its a 20" or 26" i always think a onza t-bird is a goood starters bike. I started on it and found it a good little bike. learnt all the simple things on it. All so have a look on ebay theres allways bikes on there going for a lot less than they are brand new and remeber its a trials bike it doesnt matter if theres a scratch on because your going to get scratches on it any way even the best get scratches on theres.

airevaleycycles.co.uk << They have a good range of bikes

I would recommend An Onza T-rex for a 26" starter bike. It's quite a bit over your budget at £700 but any bike in the price range you are looking will be a waste of time and money.

alternatively the trex spec 1 for 500 beans

or you could get something decent second hand, look for makes such as echo, GU, zoo, adamant.

they seem to be the most reliable these days
