Muel
I would but my kings not disc ready!Yeah i have thought about spraying my frame... but not pink because i want fluo pink rims too LOL most likly either black or silver, or white even that would be nice!Inur made a topic somewhere about using a king BMX hub with an ISO shell on it, it can be done. You could wait for the 08 PR frame to come out? I don't know what it will like but it might have maggy mounts.

Trix
Ads, take a file and make the holes in the rims larger. You'll save about 100g if you do it properly. And with your smooth riding they should last. Also - shorter rear hose - will save about 15g ?edit: Get a hydroxx, that's about 400g lighter than the Monty isn't it? With a few additional mods you'll get it under 8kg.no need using a file would take ages, strip the wheel down and use a 25mm holesaw bit click in a drill. considering the holes in the rims are originally 20mm. PaRtZ
the seat tube, seat stay, top tube join. Those farting pieces of metal...do they actually help structural integrity? if not...get the hacksaw out and maybe build the wheel 2x? that'll save soooo much weight haha
AdamR28
Haha, I think the little gussets actually do quite a lot...Bash would only save 28g, and I would KILL chains, haha.8.44kg now Will never get to 8 though, booo... PaRtZ
Could take the brakes off they only slow you down soooo light whats it like to ride ?cheers conor.its very light lol. You really cant feel a bike underneath you, its just weird. Gearing is 18:13 which helps with the lightness feel. And its the only bike i can almost get 360 bunnyhops on

Muel
You could get it below 8KG if you fitted a Koxx XTP frame couldn't you? My mates Koxx is 8259g according to trialsman. And thats without Monty TI Cranks, Monty TI Stem and a double drilled front rim. So I reckon it can be done. If Trialsman's figure is correct. AdamR28
Cut the steerer and loose the stackers.Drill the front rim sidewall.Shave the bash spikes down.Custom the pedals (Hermance styleee)Smaller rotors Don't wanna do that cos it'll ride gash.Might do, and the rear...No bashplate now.Haha, maybe... Brakes would work poo, 160 is small anyway!I think it might get heavier again soon, the frame is getting in the way quite a lot being so big (comparatively) so may need to be swapped for something else a bit less standard...
