I didnt want to make a new thread so ill ask here.

Im planning to switch from 18:16 to 18:15 with 170mm Echo CNC cranks to get better speeds on taps but as i ride a lot of natural would it be a big difference? Or just takes some time to get used with? And i would also like to know if i have to re-learn calculating the distance of run up or isnt that so big difference?

edit: on natural difference i meant isnt it getting too hard gear? like when sidehopping from bad terrain and then getting stuck because not having enough power to kick yourself out of the bad terrain (i hope you will understand what i mean)
