Healthy Eating

7am start,

7.25am 55g of whey protein(90% +), 1 pint of semi skimmed milk.

10 am one slice of toast, buttered.

12.30pm 2 slices of toast, buttered.

4pm, work out, weights only, no cardio.

6.30 pm, 55g of whey protein(90% +), pint of semi skimmed milk

8pm, can of baxters highland game/lamb/beef broth etc soup. 3 slices of bread.

anywhere between 3.5-6 litres of fluid a day

If i ate like that every day i'd be dead in 2 weeks.

3 pieces of toast isn't a good breakfast/lunch, especially if your going to be working out later.

I'm lanky, and i eat loads. I use a pasta bowl for a breakfast bowl and a regular size box of cereals is 4 of my portions (combined with nearly 2 pints of milk per bowl). For lunch i either make some nice cheese on beans/hoops on toast (4 slices) or get something from the uni cafe/out and about... usually a sandwhich pack withwater/soft drink and chocolate bar. For dinner i get a nice cooked meal, usually chicken or pork or spaghetti or lasange. Then i'll have a snack (chocolate bar/ice cream/apple/tuna sandwhich) in the evening.

I play on my bike a fair bit, walk a mile and a half to uni and back every day usually with a heavy bag, do weights/general excercise at home in the evenings.

I'm not saying this is a perfect diet, but it works for me. Only thing i DO need to do is drink more water, as i never seem to drink enough. You just need to find a correct balance between excercise and the amount you eat.

Ehm eat healthy shit but don't do the ooh this is diet or hey it's the low fat version (don't know if you guys in the UK are getting bombarded with this crap) diet means cheap aspartame rip off wich means formaldahyde in your stomach and low fat usually more sugar... Instead, just try to reduce the fat in your diet (but you need fat in your diet).

Cutting on beer if you drink loads will defenetly help you. I don't know what's up with eating loads of meat to reduce weight: eat loads of vegetables! But basicly what keeps you healthy is to change your diet all the time. Your chances of missing some stuff in your diet or having too much of something are much higher if you only eat the same few meals. Cutting on restorant can always help if you do go out alot to eat. Don't skip meals and when yoy take a little snack think of what you're about to eat, that can be where you get the worse in your diet. Drink loads of water, juice, milk...

Get new recepies and get cooking man, that's the most important.

Good luck, mate.

If you gain on that your talking bollox! And if you say your 15st and ripped? There is no way you got like that eating a diet like that. My Protein Just look around that site for whatever your goals are.

i didnt say i was ripped,im a fat feck. and thats what i am on quite often(i would be on it until i was down to a weight/size i was happy with, but i work away for 2 weeks at a time every couple of months, in which time i eat sh*t and go out on the booze, just cos theres bugger all to do and am constantly bored down there, and then itll take me 2 or so weeks to get back into it)

i didnt say i gain weight on it, i lose weight on it, but thats my aim(well my aim is to lose fat), and that is also the aim of the starter of this thread. i think some of that fat isnt burned, but is converted to muscle, because if i compared my arm size now to before i started, id say theres a definite improvement, and a definite strength increase.

theres no way i was saying it was sensible or healthy, its just what i do, and it works for me, i find doing all this cutting 400 calories a day from your diet, and dropping 1lb a week stuff, doesnt work for me, its works, and it cant be denied, just not for me, im the kind of person that if i cant see results, ill give up, but if i have to eat bugger all, train 5 days a week and stay off the booze, but can see results in a week, and can drastically change my weight in like a month, i much prefer it that way, yes, say its unhealthy, say its a shit way to do it, but isnt it all about what works for you.i spent from march till november last year, getting from 15st 8to 15 stone.because i kept gettin disheartened at not seeing results. but between march 20 and may 31st, i went from 15st 10 to 14 stone. which is a massive drop, and i, and everyone around me could see the difference, making me feel good about it and think"hey its working, and i wasnt gettin disheartened and thinkin about chuckin the towel in)
