JoeEden
hi there what would you the echo rim brake on the rear or a disc somthing like hope 07 or hope mono trial ?
Greetings
Discs are pointless on stock bikes. If you really want one though, you'll be better off with a BB7 than a Hope.

Greetings
Well, you're one of those few riders who gets on with them But for the majority, these brakes are too weak. I love the idea of dual disc, just not on a stock - tried it and the brake was way too weak for my liking. On the other hand I had a dual disc mod and if i was ever to go back to mod (which i am) i'd get a dual disc setup (which i will).would you trust a bb7 on the rear?? i for sure wouldnt! In what way? Power wise yes although i heard some people say they snap.
ALEX@BIKETRIALSFUN
I would get an echo rim brake because a disc brake still flexes a little bit so a rim brake will hold more

So it's just going to make it flex more.A 203mm avid bb7 would do the job I'd of thought, just like a hs33 will do too.
BRISA RIDER!
hi there what would you the echo rim brake on the rear or a disc something like hope 07 or hope mono trial ? Hi there i would go with a rear disc , a avid juicy 5 they are a lovely brake to run on the rear as thy have a solid pull on the leaver (no sponge like hope ).Plus these echo rim brakes have been getting bad reviews with the piston body's leaking at the seams! (complete leavers are mint though when ran on a maggy). keep it easy Jamie
