Grind + Pad's, Good Combinations?

Right, due to my brake problem which has result in my back being very sore, I am resorting to a grind.

I am getting a light/medium grind done by a friend, and am probably going to get some new pads as mine don't have much life left, but I will run them on the grind for a bit until I get new ones.

Currently I have Onza Citruses, and am thinking about new ones for the grind.

Someone told me that they used Koxx Brown's on a light/medium grind and it just wore the grind down.

I was thinking about the blue rock pads?

Can anyone give me some guidance as to what to go for.

Also if possible looking at some value pads, rather than splashing out lots of money on expensive pads, but I will if I have to.

Please just don't refer me to the pad reviews section.

Thanks,

Tom

The pads you have are meant to be rather good on a light grind as it is! Having said that, i'm a massive fan of coust pads :)

I had rock pads blues and they never really had any bite and were silent , they had good hold thou even in the rain and they didn't wear down at all even thou i used them for around 2 months.

Ive had around 4 sets of citrus pads and they are my favorite pads they bite loads really sharp and have good hold but in the rain they go silent and the hold goes , so now Ive got a pair of coustsinks in the plastic backings , i put them on about a week ago and they are working well not as much bite as the citrus pads but the same hold and the hold stayed when i was riding in the rain today and the noise even stayed too.

Ive got a medium grind which has started to wear out now , citrus pads will work on almost anything i think its just that the harsher the grind the faster they wear down so if your gonna use citrus pads keep the grind light. i recommend coust pads thou but they are £19 so its quite expensive.

Plazmatic Crm's. Best pads out there. No other pads i have ran can match the standards of them.

Danny.

Same smooth or harsh grind but soo loud on a harsh grind on Rear and smooth rim on front work immense (Y).

or Koxxs Browns harsh grind are ok but need tar.
