Why Doe's No One Wear A Helmet?

Hey all what's up?

Now I know most of you if not all of you wear helmets,

But every time I go out to the park or the skate park or the dirt jumps etc.

Every person I see, a sea of hair. Not one single helmet. Personly i don't understand it.

Could be because I live in Hastings, or the main reason, " I'll look like a twat" "Nah, mate" and so it go's.....

Now i know i'm not much of trials rider yet, but you know you have to consider your noggin.

I dont give a shit about style, Ive never ridden with a helmet and only will if im scared of something, at the end of the day i think most who dont are either too lazy or not bothered, im a bit of both.

I realise poeple will say, you dont care about your life

but you dont walk down the street with a helmet on incase you fall over or get hit by a car,,, whatever.

i totally agree with you, i didnt wear my helmet for over a year when i started, but a mate nearly losing his face on some steps when his king skipped convinced me enough into wearing one, i only dont now when im just f**king about or is raining and im not really trying at all

Hastings is a mecca for bmxers. I'm not into the Hastings scene. They seem a bit tight, not really open to get to know, which ci can't be arsed with. A big thing for them is to try to look cool, which means no lid...
