if that was the case would it bring in more riders. or is it a case that riders don't want to ride a desinated route, just the odd obstacle that they can do before rolling to the next line.

most clubs are up for some input. i know my local has tried to do events around the south to encourage riders. they did 1 event in penhurst but only got about a dozen riders turn up and i think under half was from kent area. next 1 is nearer bournemouth. hope to see some of the poole and dorset riders. as with rule benders i don't think you can get away from them no matter what sport your in. i starting to think that i may be fighting a lost cause, i have been involed in this sport since the mid-late 90s and now getting to that age where i can't push as i used to and i am thinking of trying to start a southern championship which would be over the south, south west and south east. was thinking of trying to mix up natural and street obstacles But would i get support of riders or will it fail?

Calling all trials riders. need your help. numbers of entries at observed trials events are getting lower and lower. please help by supporting your local comp. i would like to ask that all those of you that are able to attend the Crowthorne Cycle Trials Club event on the 6th of july at bransgore in hampshire please like this if you will attend. with out these clubs the sport will soon be no more. i hope to see some old and new faces. this is not only a plea for the crowthorne club but all clubs as with out the riders and the introduction to new riders we may not have a breed of new stars like jack carthy. please.

i could be up for this as i am sure a few more would be but would need a confirm go ahead, costs and also insurance? if you need some help pushing the event i am able to help

so i have been loving this frame for a few months now. but time came to try some changes. gone to front maggie (bar the dis-comfort when slowing down) loving it so far. also shes now running a ti bb to save a few grams. current weight 8.95kg.

theres a few spots around andover to ride and a good mix of street and natural if you got a good imagination and eye for lines. also for a 30min longer train ride theres basingstoke. again a good mix. pm me if you fancy a ride in either and me and scott can show you round. not rode salisbury for a while stuff to do there was always spread out.

looks like one of my old frames. but defo a better build then mine. ride so nice. cracks start to appear if your a heavy hook up ride. jack meek beat the life out of his before it gave up :wink2: frame geo was listed as 1090 , 380 , +75 but mine had old koxx forks which had 35rake and was 1095 , 380, +70 so yours should be around that i would guess

normally a fair amount of riders in reading area sure they would travel could try starting a members ride topic and see who will turn up.

was a good day. sections did lean a bit towards the "impossible" due to the weather but then that is trials. big shame i didn't get to ride as was poorly but still great to watch.

sorry i did mean british riders. i didn't get to attend this event due to family stuff. when saw the video was kinder hoping to see a bit more of a mix of riders and more of the spots being used in different ways. i do hope that there was lots of uk riders there showing there stuff and some more videos to show there skills.

would love to see how our riders did compared to the ozony team? bet we rode better?

Anyone know of and footage of the uci trials from south africa. all i can find is the promotional vid?

if we are on about the hook at 1.16sec i would say its more a roll up using a small kicker (see wood on floor) just smooth out with the legs on impact. seen it a few times at comps i've been to but never that smooth. does this mean danny may be returning to a comp lifestyle????

really inspirering video. i haven't got out for a month but now i'm off.

looking good. all i can say is practice practice practice and you will find moves will develop and your become more fluid. watch as many vid's as you can and ride. thats all i do.

also andover and basingstoke have some nice spots. which i could tour you around when i am back on the bike.
