I like to keep my old texts as sometimes it's good to refer back to them (The search is pretty good on the HTC) When (if) I change from the iphone, I'll be able to extract them all and port them back to WM, or into Android. Jon

Progress! I've managed to import some dummy SMS's into SMS.db. Not tried to upload it to the phone yet, but will give it a go. Have also extracted SMS's from my old phone - only 15000 of them Gone for PDANet for tethering, although it's slightly academic since Sky/BT have finally pulled their finger out and we have broadband now

I can't see it on Installous Are there different versions of Installous? Will give Mifi a go. Would prefer something which tethers through USB really. Need to spend a few hours on importing my SMS's. It seems complicated as I'm not familar with SQLite databases.

My bad - already had it, but the developer name was different, so I thought it wasn't the right one. I think I prefer the other tethering apps eg PDANet since you aren't confined to just firefox.

It's finally arrived. After much messing about with Greenpoison, I gave up and used limera1n to jailbreak it. Where can I get handylight from? I've got Cydia installed, but I'm not sure which source I need to find it...
