  1. Boxes. Bin Bags. If you're resourceful, try and get a body bag from somewhere (army surplus?) The problems I had at uni were the tyres making marks on the wall as they brushed past. Jon
  2. If you use a magura cross-over and keep the normal main line, you'll need to change the fitting on the end of the line. I've had very few problems with my Magura braided stuff (One set I have is about 5 years old now) Jon
  3. Windows is quite bad at memory management and I think you 'lose' the use of parts as things are loaded into it and then parts are finished with. I guess it's like sharing a bottle of wine with someone, but having to drink their half to get to your half which is at the bottom :S There are utilities to reclaim/defrag the memory on the fly - My dad uses Maxmem from AnalogX to tidy up the memory. Jon
  4. I feel so unpopular :ermm: No-one's sent it to me  Jon Edit: Thanks Danny :(
  5. Defrag. A Restart once in a while doesn't do it any harm. Windows is pretty crap at memory management. You could use msconfig to knock out any unneeded programs/processes from startup. See if you can beg/borrow/steal some more RAM from somewhere. Jon
  6. This ride is in Portsmouth. Hopefully Sue and Charlie will be organising something in Abingdon nearer the time. Jon
  7. Was doing fine until the parallel park... it handles nothing like a real car... Jon
  8. It did seem kind of obvious... I'd have thought for a college assignment you could waffle about it though. Jon
  9. CRC sell the Ultimate Pro's - they're in stock now. It's probably cheaper to shop around though. Jon
  10. I'd guess they produce a prototype and fit it to a bike. Jon
  11. I'm sure I would, but last time I checked 150% of 266 is 400, not 333 :( Jon
  12. My unicycle has a wheelbase of 0... I think my megamo mod is about 1000 Jon
  13. I don't think the picture changes after 10,000... Jon
  14. It is :S although the flash keeps crashing on my damn computer. Jon
  15. Can you get into safemode? (Press F8 as it boots to get a menu for that sort of thing) Jon
  16. (Got to love the Google image search) Jon
  17. They're not that bad... but look at the clock speeds: Sempron 2200+ 1.50GHz, 333FSB, 256K Cache Athlon 1700+ 1.47GHz, 266FSB, 256K Cache I doubt there'd be a great deal of difference between the above processors. AMD moved the goalposts when they started naming the CPU's. I guess it all depends on what you'll be using the PC for. Games? Video editing? or just internet/email? Jon
  18. I can see this devolving into a Planet-X bashing thread... Given their history with a) systematic failure of frames b) After-Sales Customer Service I wouldn't hold my breath about a warranty claim. I think it's quite disappointing that the frame has failed so quickly. Jon
  19. My wheelbase is 1125 I don't think it counts though since it's a large Trek Fuel 90 with Pyslo's (Y) The bike's I normally ride trials on are 1030 and 1040. Jon
  20. PM Danny or Tomturd asking them. They have the power... Jon
  21. Sorted. See you tomorrow. Jon
  22. It's not that difficult to find a water leak... stick some radweld in there. might have a space in my car if someone wants picking up somewhere on my way from liverpool. Jon
  23. I'll be going :D Can someone who's going PM me a mobile number? Preferably theirs :D Jon
  24. Times/Places? I think I'm quite up for this, but I've no idea where to park/meet etc... Anyone else going from the Liverpool area? Jon
