  1. The Unex stuff isn't great. I've heard of it leaking internally before. I've very few problems with the Magura stuff and some people swear by Goodridge. I'm not sure about coloured hosing... The only people I can think of apart from those you mentioned are tartybikes - they may be able to get some for you. Jon
  2. I know it's 'not leaking' but check behind the pads for signs of fluid there. Jon
  3. I'm still torn between a V and a Disc. My C2 sucks on my trials bikes. The Avid is nice, but I kept hitting the rotor when riding natural sloppily. Once I get some Plaz CRV's and some Spanish Fly's on a grind to play with I'll decide. Jon
  4. I've had no problems on mine. I don't think you've got a lot to lose by trying it either. Jon
  5. I'll probably come down. Will try and get hititfaster and some others out too. 7's probably the earliest I can make it otherwise I'll get raped by the rush hour traffic. Best place to meet is the market square (aka slab square) Jon
  6. You could use the proper tool... CRC used to do a large grub screw which screws into the axel to give the extractor something to push against. I've got one... somewhere. I always use the 5p method because it's easier for me. Give them a call? Jon
  7. Double sided sticky tape :ermm: Make sure the surfaces are clean first. Jon

    Deej?

DJ was a member of the forum who was killed in a hit & run last year. He was a highly valued member of the forum and trials community and a great friend. There's a pink bunny at the bottom of the page where people have left their thoughts about him. Jon
  9. I can... but I can't guarantee that mine aren't bent either... Jon
  10. dave85 aka Edd Potts Clive Leeson. Jon
  11. If you don't sort something out with George, I'd swap one of my pimpy Leeson machined (20T or 22T) bashes for a 16T ti one... Jon
  12. Exactly what it says above. Evening Ride in Lufbra. I'll be there about 7pm. Who's not swamped with work? Jon
  13. I disagree. It's nice to know that the 660 is available with a standard seat tube. Jon
  14. How long do you have to wait? Jon
  15. You can't take the slave cylinders apart easily. I'd suggest you setup your brake properly. Lazy cylinders are made worse by too much TPA. Use 2p coins between the pads and the rim while you set the brake up. Jon
  16. He can do a disc mount on them - you'll probably need to provide the wheel/hub and the caliper you're going to use. Like Alex said, Clive is reluctant to sell them - I don't think he'll sell them unless you're getting a frame as well. Jon
  17. It'd nice... but my ET has somewhat distracted me from riding 26" - I've not ridden the Leeson in about 2.5 months. I think it depends on what sort of riding you want to do. See if you can try out someones Leeson. Jon
  18. (Y) I can't believe you went looking... next you'll tell me there's some rocking horse poo on there too... Jon
  19. As always with Leeson... talk to Clive. I have an XXL and I think there are a few XL's out there. Last I heard he wasn't keen on a 660 with a seat, but I suspect he's changed his mind now he's done some 609's. I reckon the chances of you getting a pic of an XL with a seat are the same as you picking up some hens teeth on ebay... Jon
  20. I think Fat Patt (grantham) rides for Brisa. He'll know what they've got lined up. Jon
  21. Just the same as if he doesn't send it and you paid by PayPal. Assuming it's on ebay, his feedback should give you an idea of how trustworthy he is. Jon
  22. If you withdraw the cash from your account and take it to a branch of his bank, you'll be able to pay it direct into his account (you'll need his account no and sort code though) You'll get a reciept for the payment from the bank. Jon
