  1. Like Chris from trialkings ran? That was more than 3/4 years ago :P Jon
  2. Season 4 well worth the watch... as is the film. I'm surprised you've not managed to get a copy Tomm. Jon
  3. You mean the Nickel plated Ghz prototype that was at the bike show? Don't pashley use off the shelf dropouts? Pretty much like any other manufacturer... No pictures though... they were hosted on the old image uploaded which is long gone. Jon
  4. Why'd you say Matt B then? Another Lysdexic moment? As for to change or not to change. I don't think you'll ever change Pete... Jon
  5. Of course. One person went back... Hang on a min. Last time I talked to boon he was riding a Curtis... I doubt many people give a shit about the 'demise of the mhz' Jon
  6. If it's so good then why are you changing? Why did Pashley change it? Jon
  7. Anyone heard of this program called MSN? It allows instant messaging over the internet. Clever huh? Stops public forums like this being clogged up with shite. Jon
  8. Why not? I have a pair on my Magnesium V12's. They're only £35. They save a bit of weight and look nice. Whilst I'm sure the steel ones are just as durable they seemed like a good idea at the time. Jon
  9. Sounds like the scales of truth to me :) Were the scales made by the same people who made the trials-forum tape measure? :) I'd be very surprised if a T-Pro weighed 8.5kg! Jon
  10. I wouldn't trust you either :) I've had no problems with my V Backings and araldite. I went for Maguras originally because my friends had them and they worked. I've taken the plunge back to V Brakes now I've got a better choice of pads. I thin I prefer them, although I'm still tempted to go back to a magura on the front to get the feel/modulation I want with a grind. I'm sure with patience I'll find a pad that works for me. Jon
  11. Have you changed the skin? Some of them don't have the spell check button. Jon
  12. Get a tube that has a screw down bezel/nut to attach it to the rim. Jon
  13. I'm wanting to go and join the Liverpool ride this afternoon. Danny's phone is off/out of signal and I don't have a number for anyone else on the ride. Anyone care to help me out? The people who are supposed to be there are tom!e, Will Arnold and craigdavies. I've tried phoning all the Liverpool people I know to get a number, but no luck... Ta Jon
  14. You can if you're holding onto someone else on a unicycle... Which is what they do when they do stop. Jon
  15. Linkage Looks pretty cool/weird. I bet it's just like riding a unicycle... Jon
  16. Practice, Practice, Practice... You'll get used to the one-finger braking. What brake setup are you running? Might be worth upgrading/setting up properly if it wont lock with one finger. Jon
  17. A Computer repair shop/person (would probably have to be an independant place) The trouble with laptops is it takes around 2 hours to dismantle one to get the access you need to the motherboard to see what sort of problem it's got. It's also a risky process taking one apart as they're very delicate. There's no harm in asking around, especially as I'm not sure how many places would take on such a repair. Try contacting the manufacturer directly too - I'd imagine they'd charge around £250 to fit a new motherboard. Hope that's some sort of help... Jon
  18. It depends on the extent of the damage to the board... I've repaired about 10 laptops with power problems - they've all been caused by people damaging the power socket by snagging the power lead. The best way to repair it is to solder a new socket to the motherboard on a fly lead. It's not as neat as a new board, but it's a lot cheaper. How skilled are you with a soldering iron/taking apart laptops? Jon
  19. Try an electric drill and a 10mm bit and drill the centre out? Jon
  20. If it's an old laptop then it wont have USB 2 which means external harddrives will be painfully slow. Jon
  21. I used to travel from Derby to Bristol to ride, although I was probably older at the time... I'll probably be dragging my ass down to Lime Street at around 11. It's a whole 10 mins ride for me :D Weather looks a bit grey outside, but the forecast says it'll brighten up. I'll be on a white ET. Jon
