  1. But you can push shorter cranks faster...
  2. Just bloody email him! I'm sure you're capable of clicking on his profile.
  3. Does anyone know if Ben is still down under?
  4. Completely un-called for. You don't know the details so don't make judgements like that. My thoughts are with those left behind. Jon

    Engine!

Potential for a good topic, but with Corish's contribution it's doomed.
  7. [sarcasm] You'll go far in here... [/sarcasm]
  8. Lower Octane fuel burns more quickly so needs less advance on the ignition timing when tuning. Question: Which colour fruit pastille do you like the most?
  9. Basically. UCI is riding on nothing but rubber, ie. no using bash ring/plate. It stands for the Union Cycliste Internationale.
  10. I suspect the official line is a years warranty. Generally Hope will go above and beyond the call of duty - Help from them should be asked for, not demanded! I think in most cases they'll repair/replace parts free/cheaply. Tell them what product you have and what the problem with and ask if they can help. Jon
  11. Once you've got the confidence, hit it faster.

  13. I think it means they've registered, but not activated the account by clicking on the link they've been emailed. The place for those sort of questions is the random questions thread... Jon
  14. Finally someone in this thread who isn't restricted in how they ride by what other people say! My 24" is great on street and great on rocks. I have more fun on my 24" than I did on mod or stock. Jon
  15. That's pretty much it. If you draw a line from the front axle to the rear axle. The distance above (or below!) the line that the BB sits (centre of the axle) is the BB rise. Jon
  16. I wouldn't believe what his mates say. If you're worried about it then confront him and tell him you'd appreciate his honesty. It sucks to be in that situation, but the space may do you good and it'll be the foundation of a stronger relationship if things do work out as you'll have a better understanding of each other. Jon (I'm no expert though... I'm in a pretty similar situation right now )
  17. I spend about £50 a week on petrol. That's 95 octane unleaded and it's about 85p a litre. We can also get 97 octane, but it's more expensive, and most cars are setup to run on 95. 1 gallon over here is 4.75 litres (20 floz in an english pint, 16 in an american one) How many states have you been to? Jon
  18. What a great thread! You win another beer. Or whatever it is you're drinking...
  19. Well Done! Go and enjoy the main forums now...
  20. I think you need 100 posts before you can change it... That's not an excuse to post crap though. Jon

If you wish to post a For Sale/Wanted topic on Trials-Forum you need to read and follow this - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ounce&f=13&id=3 This goes for Ebay items too. If you want to start an ebay watch thread, then do so when you've been validated. Topic Closed.
  22. It's pretty blatent advertising.
  23. That's enough whinging now. George has validated lots of people. I've done at least 20 in the past week. Be Patient. Hint: I look at new members who are online, so the more often you're on the forum and if your posts are good then the more likely you are to be validated (by me) Oh, and capital letters and punctuation don't go amiss.
