The first response was the best one. HEADSET REMOVAL TOOL ONLY. You can damage the insde of your headtube if you use anything else. Buy a headset removal tool or go to your local bike shop and get it done.

Im going with the simtra frame and i need to build it up with the right parts. I know this is personal preference, and i would like to hear your preference. -What fork is best for that frame? -What wheels should i get? Im thinking try all. but which ones? I also want to put a cassette on there so i can have a few gears to chose from. -I am going with the Hope trials disc brakes front AND rear. Unless they will slip in the rear, will they? -I think i will go with the truvativ holsfieller cranks but dont know if they still make the trials version. -I will go with Easton or Specialized bars. Any other recomendations are welcome. Thanks, -Ryan

Haha yeah. Yeah, the P.3 comes with a bashguard. I also recently put lighter wheels on it and saved 2 lbs. I put a 70 mm thompson stem on there instead of the 50 mm syncros. i think i might still go longer on the stem though.

How much easier is trials riding on a trials specific bike rather than a Specialized P.3 or something? (I did lighten my P.3 a little. Its around 31 lbs. Still a tank)

Just keep riding. It takes time. Do slightly bigger things over time and dont go and try something huge that you dont know you can do, unless u want to get hurt. It takes time. Im a panzie myself.

Or you just buy lock-ons.

yeah ive been riding a specialized P.3 so i think that the Control would fit my style of riding better.

So what is the purpose of a high bottom bracket? advantages? dissadvantages? i was looking into getting the Echo Control because it has a reasonable BB height. +10mm but then i was thinking maybe i should get a higher BB bike. like the Echo hifi or Zoo Pitbull. What do You think?

Well i was thinking for one air pressure could reduce dents. but then again could make it more prone to cracking. it would be interesting to try.
