I like the fact that they went back to a +20mm BB and horizontal dropouts, but 116 spacing??? what are they thinking? but whatever, I dont think it would be that bad. The chainstays wont have to flare out too much, I guess you can swap parts from mods but i wouldnt care. A little loss in stiffness going narrower, If you have a narrower hub, that means your spokes arent as spaced out which means a wheel that isnt as stiff. Gosh, theres a reason why 26" wheels have 135 spacing. I guess it isnt TOO much difference. I dunno
  3. Thanks, I definitely will when its built up. dont know how much il be on my pooter though. I'm gonna be out riding it!!
  4. Echo/gu danggg sweet ride though

  6. Are the zoo cranks different from the echo cranks? Ive heard the echo cranks get stripped alot. same with zoo? Has echo improved at all for 06? Will the echo forged cranks have better/stronger threads? Im gonna order some from webcyclery, just dont wanna get some that will die.

  11. Dude, u just killed ur frames. they would be made with holes if it was ridable like that. PICS PLEASE
  12. I am probobly going to go with truvativ haussfelt or shimano saint cranks. They have spiders, so the smallest ring i can go with is a 22 in the front. What should I be riding in the back? like an 18?
  13. Erics excentric eno disc hub? Has anyone tried it? Is it any good for trials? (edit) Oh durr, I would have to use the excentric disc adapters too.
  14. Aight, il try that if the new eyelet doesnt work.
  15. A washer wont fit through either side.
  16. Aight so im building up my bike and am going to run dual disc. (st-1) I had Sun MTX rims on my P.3 before this and crashed. I ripped out a spoke, but the nippe diddnt break. The eyelet tore out of the rim. I would like to continue using these rims. Do you think it would be that big of a deal to be missing a spoke on my front wheel? Maybe I will stick stronger spokes on either side of that hole and use lighter spokes throuought the rest. Is it a good or bad idea to be running an MTX in the rear? Is it too narrow? I also thought of putting another eyelet in the rim and trying it, but with an alluminum rim bent out like it is... Im not to sure about that.
  17. Currently 4.7 lbs, but thats because all i have is the frame so far. simtra ST-1!!!!
  18. Buy replacement leverblades for ur xtr's
  19. I was reading a magazine and saw someone who had put a split hose on their downtube near the bb area to protect the frame. Has anyone tried this?
