  1. hate to say it but this has already been done by the US Military and it's advanced soliders by placing small mirrors and telescreen onto a jump suit, it doesn't make the solider %100 invisable but it does make them look like a heat wave.... it does so look so cool though, suppose it raises another question! what would you do if you were invisable for a day??
  2. I think the random part is his dad rides trials with him...
  3. i find it easier to download from the area where people upload thier vids... its a thought?
  4. A mate had a really nice Kona (can't remember what) but i decided to get a Kona NuNu. After a while we started to get into Dirt Jumping like making mounds, jumping down loads of stairs or riding through our shopping precint really quick and pulling manuals or wheelies.... ahhhh those were the days After a while we met a couple of local trials riders and really liked what they were doing, looked poetic like they were 1 with there bike. Like some Jackie Chan sh*t.... So we decided to get into trials that way, by watching those who already did it!! Hope that helps!
  5. I'm from Sunny Oxfordshire and it always rains!! It absoulutely sucks because I would rather ride my bike than stay in or chill round a friends house watching trials vid's... What do people here do when it rains? Do you have a barn or warehouse or sumin as I want one!
  6. Laugh if want! I was just learning about a year ago, practice my drop off style from a curb, lost my footing and the pedel span back round and hit me in the shin. 15 stiches and 3 1/2 hours in A & E i was alrite... Luckily the nurse was fit so i didn't moan!!
  7. hmmm OK cool that's interesting. I wouldn't mind a control but i'm not made of money and beside's im only going to destroy the frame anyway.... Also according to someone i know James Porter learnt on a Pure (look how he turned out!) so they can't be that bad! Thanks Guys, If anymore interesting info out there post it....
  8. Well? Is the Echo Pure any good or would you fork out extra and get the Echo Control?
  9. Hi people, I'm riding a Pashley 26mhz at present and want to build up a new bike with new frame & forks. Im looking at the Echo Control / Pure or the Zoo Pitbull 2005 or 2006 version, but need a little advice. So my questions are: Can anyone give me advice about what frame would suit me? Whether a long or short frame will be better? What is it like riding with a higher bottom bracket? And will it change my riding style? If these cant be answered can anyone give advice? thanks
  10. 'chavs' tend to be pretty friendly - haha what world do you come from? Chav's all are just idiots in general, the only reason why they don't start trouble is if they think you'd defend yourself or they know you from school or somewhere else, or they know someone that knows you. Where i'm from Oxford they normally are alrite unless theres more than 5 of them and your riding somewhere that they normally chill at or they have to walk through you all... But in general the streets are safe, remember the CCTV is watching all the time and if you don't feel safe somewhere move where you do... i.e wheres theres more people or by a road...
  11. How about the helmet Porter wears in the Get 1 trailer, its like that team helmet but is all black with pink swirls on it. Looks Sick!!
  12. fine have it your way! i'll be there....
  13. No-One's replied to my question, Is it cool for me and a couple to turn up?? Don't know portsmouth too well though so will need to give some rough description of somewhere to meet and a time... Let me know Dan
  14. hmmmm ok cool, some good advice.... I always thought with Trials "No Pain No Gain"
  15. Hey Guys, After 3-4 hours of constant riding the blisters on my hands (under the middle finger to little finger) hurt so much!! I ride with gloves, no bumps or notches on my grips and take regular brakes too. People say best thing to do is burn them? Or to get nail clippers and cut them off? Can anyone reccomend ways to stop them from hurting so much!!
  16. Hey Is it Cool if me and a couple of mates turn up? Some may know one? One's Carl Stanton (guy with long hair and holes in his ears) if that rings bells? Rides a comp1 I think? I didn't know DJ but i know people that did and as i'm from Abingdon too I know more than a fair share. Let me know..
  17. Well I made a square box 2ft by 4ft in D & T at college and use it to practice gap to a curb outside my house....
  18. Hey i'm new to trials-forum so... Hello One and All I been riding trials for about a year (old skool style) on my Pashley 26mhz and want to switch to a new skool bike. Only problem the building of it! Some say I need to go join "the long, low and silver brigade?" but i'm not too sure what to do. I'm not bathing in money so I want to build a totally new bike from scratch over a 6-7 month period whilst i still perfect the finer sides of trials and spend roughly between £1000 - £1500.. But how should it be built?? I've been looking on tartybikes.co.uk and seen some of the fully built bikes, they look so rude!! But i've been thinking about one from scratch.. The Ashton Justice, Echo Control and GU Typhoon frames look sweet!!. But my real question!... Should I buy the frame and forks first and everything else to go with it? Or buy the rims, brakes, other components and frame and forks last because better frames will be out? Or can anyone give me any better advice what to do or what not to do!!?? Thanks look forward to the response!!
