  3. as the title says really, If you would like to sponser me, lever your name, the first line of your address, and how much you want to give. So far people have given between 50p and £5, to give you a rough guide :turned: oh, and Please tell me how you would like to transfer the money... I do not have pay pal... Internet banking transfers would be welcome, as would cheques (made out to "Alexander Black" so that I can cash it in, and write a cheque with it all included for when i send it to the charity. If you want my sort code/ account number for bank details, please post :S Cheers, Alex. EDIT: the Rally is an on-road car rally, which is held every year for mencap as a kind of fund raising event :D
  4. I ordered a helmet once apon a time, and they had stopped selling them, so they rang me to let me no (Y)
  5. You already have the frame right? thats how you no your rim will not fit? Why don't you just measure it yourself? :S
  6. I'm running a sunn ditch witch at the moment, which is basically a rhino lite without eye-lets, it has taken a fair few heavy landings, and i didn't notice any difference in weight over my D521 which i was running... Seem to be good rims to go for
  7. Well i ride a 1020 leeson, its great for me, weather i'm riding street or natural, it just feels right. But, Harsh rider got on it the other day (rides a 1010 leeson with a different set-up to me) and he hated it, he just couldnt get it to do what he wanted it to do. If you ask me, its the set-up, not the frame/ forks...
  8. Do you mean more video's such as evolve etc... or just the type of thing we download everyday for free? (Y)
  9. I used to be able to side hop higher than i could backwheel. I have however been learning to tap, and now they probably average out as about even heights, although i cannot tap reliably, when it all goes right i can tap higher than i can side hop if that makes sense... This might be down to my bike set-up, I ride a short bike, which i think does probably restrict me for side hops, but i find back wheeling things much better now than i used to on my old longish bike... :D
  10. I'll take a guess and say he started with the rear wheel on the ledge about 1/3 of the way down...
  11. All the guys in the waterlooville (my local) branch seem pretty sound. They all no what they'r doing, infact I often go there to get my front brake cable changed ( because andy p does it, and does a damn good job... oh, and i'm lazy >_< )
  12. I don't understand what you mean by this. I voted leeson because for me, a 24" would be far more fun than a 20" :(
  13. I don't  Not got a dog either..." Get it sprayed... its lost the only thing that made it different (Y)
  14. oh, i'm sure someone did that with 521's and seeing that, i assumed it must have been you. I stand corrected... but either way, its still a good rim :D
  15. It's 2 D521's welded together, and then drilled. Should be a good rim if you ask me :( Nice looking bike, but i doubt the ride is for me... Each to their own though ;)
  16. Grrr, dad took off real player/ the other thing i can't think of its name because "nothing uses it anyway", can i download a codec to allow me to watch it in media player? :(
  17. What i wanted: What i got: If you can get the purple then go for it, maybe clive can get it these days... you never no. The green is mine though, hands off (Y) Out of what you have said, i would go yellow :deej:
  18. MY best is around 39" i think... if i remember correctly anyway. Thats riding a leeson 26" with a pretty short stem... hardly ideal for sidehops (Y)
  19. I think there was 21 bikes there when me and nick manning turned up, so say each one is worth around £1000.... lol
  20. That was by far the best ride i have ever been on. I was seriously impressed with the standard of riding going on and the turn out even in the rain... Good work lads
  21. Oh my bloody good god, that was amazing! (Y)
  22. We don;t mind miles, if u dont go, it just means i dont need to use the bike rack
